This line of yellow tag 2021 drop BL/Merino ewes are a mixed line of vendor bred & non vendor bred females. Very even in type, they're SIL to Poll Dorsets & White Suffolk sires to start lambing mid May for 6 weeks. These ewes have been scanned & detected as carrying singles only!
The ewes are physically in strong, predominantly fat score 2 condition, of good medium to large frame, showing length of body, good clear open heads & standing on good bone, legs & feet.
These ewes in the past have reared lambs which have comfortably met supermarket weight by the middle part of spring, as well as presenting very well for livestock market competition.
Given their 3yo age, this line will produce many more lambs in the years to come. Only being sold due to an excess of numbers built up after many years of high lambing percentages.
